Our trip to visit Sarah and Matt was so productive - I even learned how to sew! Sarah taught me to sew these hooded towels for the boys. Luke gets the football - TOUCHDOWN! - towel and Jensen gets the basketball towel.

This was Austin's favorite part of the trip - building a fire and cooking food over it. He and Matt sat around the fire forever and loved it.

When the guy driving the ATV saw us getting in the wagon he said, "Please distribute your weight evenly on the wagon," made me feel fatty - oh wait, I always feel like that lately - thanks Jensen.
The drive to Moses Lake was so pretty! This is a shot out the car window, pretty sweet.
Luke was good on the trip - during the daylight and with a cup of pretzels. He didn't like traveling in the dark, so the last 45 minutes before we got to Sarah's house, we sang many primary songs. How many times can you sing Popcorn Popping before your brain explodes?
Sarah and Matt took us to this awesome site to see the Columbia River. It was so pretty!

Jensen cuddling with Austin. Jensen was quite the party animal on the trip, he stayed up late with us every night, but then slept quite well.
Sarah got Matt this dutch oven about 3 years ago for Christmas but he has never used it. We decided to have dutch oven at about 4:30pm - not a good idea to start dutch oven food so late, but it turned out great!! It was so good and so fun!
The same time we decided on the peach cobbler, we decided to do shishkabobs on their "fire pit" out back. Austin was so excited to build a fire that he took Sarah's kids in a hike looking for firewood while the rest of us took naps. The food was SO amazing by the way! The day after we got home we went out and bought the stuff to make these, that's how wonderful they were.
Sarah and Matt have a tether ball thing in their backyard. This is a picture Luke and Jackson playing with it but Austin and I played with it for about an hour while Matt and Sarah finished their nap. It was really fun! We broke it twice while playing and I had to give Austin 2 handicaps (only hitting the ball with his elbows or feet) in order to win.
While in Moses Lake we went to their free Harvest Festival. It was so fun! The kids got trick or treat bags already full of candy, a free pumpkin that they got to pick out themselves, a fun hay wagon ride, bean bag toss and even tattoos, plus trees to climb - what more could kids ask for. All this was by a beautiful lake with ducks and leaves in fall colors - so fun!
